Social Media Hurting Writing And Thinking Skills for PR Professionals?

  1. I consider social media's short-and-to-the-point format in much the way I think of factoids, pull-out quotes, blurts, and one-liners. Cleverness or insightfulness counts, depth does not. The goal is to pull the reader in to our personal dialogue or content by creating connections. However, if writers are not putting emphasis on quality content experiences in our own lives, we won't create anything of the like for others, either.
